There are three tables and a dozen chairs in here to sit in for eating. Coke and Pepsi products to drink. Decent prices on the lunch specials. Pretty quick service with the food. The food wasn't amazing, but it was enjoyable and the lunch special was more than enough food for one person.

Best general tso chicken in Maryland. If you decide on a take out night, this is the place to go. I'd say you should think about what to get, but in reality, just get the general tso chicken. All the other items are quite good as far as "average" chinese food, but, I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else, now that Panda Buffet is closed.

I've been here twice and, so far, Fast Wok serves decent take-out Chinese food. And as its name suggests, it is fast. No complaints, which I usually have plenty of when it comes to take-out Chinese food.

They gave me the wrong order and I live 30 minutes away. When I told her about this on the phone they didn't even apologize.

This place is horrible. Don't eat here. I have eaten there tie and the food has been horrible. The people are rude and the food is gross.

Keep in mind this is a Chinese takeout not a real sit down restaurant. I had Kung Pao Shrimp and a spring roll. The dish was not spicy at all, had way too many celery stalks and huge chunks of green pepper. I only counted five shrimp and this was the dinner portion. On the contrary the rest of the crew ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken, a portion size to feed an army. It was mostly chicken and very little fillers. The Spring Rolls were simply filled with shredded cabbage. Overall this was a mediocre meal at best! Not too impressed. I think we will stick to PF Changs curb side.

Typical Chinese food, I usually order from here, but the last time I order Lo Mein, I got food poisoning, so be careful what you order

I come here for one thing and one thing only: fried chicken wings. After trying this place's chicken wings, every other Chinese place just tastes...average. There is some kind of strange, wonderful flavor in these wings that isn't found in any other wings. Also, the wings & fried rice combo is ALWAYS the same price, no matter when you come in. ~$5-$6 Get the wings, and get fried rice with them!

Best Chinese I had in this area (Ellicott City). I recently started working in this area and I needed to find a Chinese spot quick! I LOVE the spring rolls. I've had the general tso's, its pretty decent. Hunan Chicken is good, but too much veggies, not enough chicken. The shrimp lo mein is great. The taste of the food is good. I am picky when it comes to Chinese Food, but they have surely passed my test. Great prices on lunch specials and quick service.

I worked at a Chinese restaurant for 6 years so my standards are extremely high. When I moved to the area to live with my boyfriend I was dismayed at how much I disliked another Chinese place I tried. He suggested I try Fast Wok and it felt like I was in my old store again. Huge portions, great prices and a friendly (albeit broken English) staff. I ordered fried rice with no vegetables (sometimes this gets overlooked but I've never had that happen at Fast Wok) and my BF got beef with vegetables which he raved about. I definitely recommend this store, I just wish they delivered =/

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
